It is with great honor that we welcome Walter Redden as one of our featured Inspired Resident Bloggers from Inspired Living at Bonita Springs. He was born in Reared, Mississippi, but moved to Monterey, California to attend an Army Language School where he learned Russian fluently and ultimately became an interpreter. From 1948-1953 he served in the US Airforce being stationed in both Japan, and Korea. After his service, he graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1955 and taught English at Cleveland Highschool in Mississippi. For 33 years, he worked for Scott Foresman, which is a text book publisher outside of Chicago. Finishing his extensive career with Scott Foresman, he retired in 1989 and volunteered as a Radio News Announcer for Public Radio at 9am and a Methodist Rehab Hospital Gift Shop. He spent most of his years living in Jackson, Mississippi, married to his lovely wife Annette and having one son, Stuart. We are so happy to have Walter as one of our Inspired Resident Bloggers and cannot wait to share his blogs. Welcome Walter!
