Validus Senior Living promotes Financial Innovator, Lindsey Hacker, to Chief Financial Officer.
Lindsey is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant in the State of Florida and has a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University. She began her career in public accounting for Ernst & Young where she worked in both the public and private sector for various industries, including Healthcare.
Lindsey launched her career in Senior Living in 2009 at Horizon Bay Retirement Living. She served as the Director of Accounting at Horizon Bay where she gained knowledge in all senior housing product profiles. This is also where she worked with both Steve Benjamin, CEO and Rebecca Townsend, COO of Validus Senior Living. Steve Benjamin states, “Lindsey is a very talented executive with a strong track record of leadership in all aspects of accounting practices. Her depth of knowledge, analytical reasoning and outstanding communication skills will have a significant impact in our ability to execute on all growth initiatives moving forward.”
Lindsey later served as a Regional in Financial Planning and Analysis for Brookdale Senior Living where she expanded her experience in the operational aspects of the senior living industry. Prior to joining Validus Senior Living, Lindsey served as Chief Financial Officer of Thomas Financial, a leader in financial solutions for high net worth individuals and growth companies.
